Terms of service
These terms apply when a Shopify merchant installs or uses Serialix, a serial-number tracking service operated by midorry.
The service
Serialix provides serial-number pools, order assignment, lookup, fulfillment alerts, order-metafield sync, printing, and record exports. Merchants remain responsible for their products, warranty promises, consumer-law obligations, and the accuracy of information they record or export.
Acceptable use
You must use Serialix lawfully, secure access to your Shopify account, and record only information you are entitled to process. Do not upload malicious content, probe or disrupt the service, or use it to mislead customers.
Plans and billing
Free-plan quotas and Pro pricing are shown in the app. Pro begins with a 7-day trial and is billed through Shopify at $14.99 USD every 30 days until cancelled or downgraded. Shopify handles charge approval and billing. Existing records stay readable when a Free shop exceeds its monthly assignment allowance.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Serialix reliable, but the service is provided as available and may occasionally be interrupted. We may improve, change, or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice when a change materially affects paid use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Serialix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, lost profits, or merchant warranty costs. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
